The Elder Gods bass reminds me of the line from Lovecraft's original Nyarlathotep story: "He purchased strange instruments of metal and glass and combined them into instruments stranger still." I wonder if it was meant to evoke that? It certainly succeeds!
I'm definitely going to have to look into this. I'm really excited by the possibilities, even though I can't afford to buy a guitar and mod it right now.
