LJ has been undergoing yet another one of its DDoS attacks. I've barely been able to post comments on other peoples' posts for well over a week, and it's getting seriously irritating.

I'm sometimes a bit of a luddite and stuck in my ways when it comes to social networking media, but I'm so, so close to just scrapping LJ all together and moving over to DW permanently.

So yeah, LJ people who're on DW - I still love you, and I'm not ignoring you. The internet is making me ignore you. BOO!!

To be fair, the DDoS attacks are not entirely LJ's fault. Sure, it might be the Russian govt trying to get at the Russian protesters and stuff, and LJ is owned by Russians, but still not exactly their fault.

On the other hand, I'm rather frustrated by LJ keeping silent about the whole deal until most recently. I'm far more willing to forgive this stuff if there is transparency in the process.

WORD. Most of the folks I adore most have registered here but most don't post...and there are a few I'd lose if I scrapped LJ completely that I don't want to lose.

I SO, SO WISH that I could get everyone to get their butts over here, though. It's nice here.
